Forgery does not use AI to generate any of its imagery.
AI is a useful tool--invaluable, even. We’ve employed it successfully in operations and strategy capacities. But we do not and will not be using it for any part of the image creation process.
For us this is a values decision, not a moral soapbox. Our brand is established in the realm of purpose, not efficiency. We trade in identity, not sales. If the end goal was to churn out dozens of symbols and move as much product as possible, AI would be the perfect tool for that. But that’s not why we’re here.
Forgery exists to remind us of who we want to be. That process is uniquely and exclusively intentional. As a result, we reject shortcuts that circumvent meaning.
